Paddleboard (SUP) in Alteidet

One of the best trips you can take on Alteidet is with SUP on the fjord. 

At Alteidet Camping you can rent a SUP that you can easily paddle out with from the Camping area. Little Altafjord, by which Alteidet is located, is full of fish, birds and whales, and as it is shallow inside Alteidet, it is an excellent place to take the children out on the water. 

Start from the campsite and paddle out towards Storeng, or take a trip along the land towards Alteidet's settlement. You will be able to see fish, a large number of different birds, sandy bottom with shells and other sea animals and if you are really lucky you can observe whales of different kinds. 

Paddle out to the old pier towards Storeng and hear the birds sing and enjoy the sound of the sea and nature.
