Alteidet Camping

We are a family-run business that was established in autumn 2023 through the acquisition of this natural gem. There has been a campsite on the property for many years, but this has now been closed for a period. We went together with a common desire to reopen Alteidet Camping under the same name and concept as before, but now with a small facelift and new powers. Our aim is to create an attractive and scenic campsite for tourists traveling on the roads in Nord Troms and Kvænangen. 

In the winter of 2023/2024, the first cabin was ready to rent, the large cabin. In June 2024 we officially opened the campsite and our café. In 2025 our goal is to continue with rebuilding and upgrading the campsite.

We offer great pitches with electricity for motorhomes, caravans and tents, as well as cozy and comfortable cabins for those who want an extra comfortable stay. Our camping area is surrounded by beautiful nature and is an ideal starting point for exploring the beautiful areas around Alteidet and Kvænangen. 

 In our café, we will offer a good selection of kiosk and baked goods - both for guests and passers-by. With fantastic nature just outside the door,
